Sewer Camera Inspection & Locating

If your drains keep backing up, or you're buying a house with an older sewer line, a camera inspection shows you exactly what's going on underground. No guessing, and no digging until you know where and why.

When a camera inspection makes sense

  • Drains that back up more than once
  • Gurgling toilets or slow drains all over the house
  • Tree roots near the sewer line
  • Buying or selling an older home
  • Before any sewer repair, so the fix matches the problem

What we do

We run a sewer camera through an accessible cleanout and watch the line on screen as we go. We look for roots, cracks, offset joints, low spots that hold water, and old pipe that's breaking down.

If we find a problem, we use a locator to mark where it is on the ground and about how deep. That way any repair is aimed at the right spot.

What you get

We walk you through what we saw, and for inspections you get a straightforward report you can act on or share with your agent or insurance company.

Common questions

Do I need a cleanout?

The camera goes in through a cleanout. If your house doesn't have an accessible one, we'll tell you the options.

Should I get one before buying a house?

For older homes, it's worth it. A sewer line problem can be an expensive surprise after you close.

Can you clear the line at the same visit?

If the line is blocked, we can usually clear it so the camera can get through. We'll tell you before we do anything extra.
